In Arisan OHVG engines, it plays a vital role in managing the lubrication of the upper part of the engine. This part prevents oil leakage into the combustion chamber by accurately sealing the space between the valve stem and the guide. Technical Note:
Before installing, make sure the valve guide is in good condition. If the valve guide has excessive play, even the best seal will not eliminate oil burning, because the valve play will change its position and open the oil path past the seal. Initial lubrication of the seal edge before installation will greatly help extend its life.

Identifying the location of an oil leak:
• Blue smoke coming out of the exhaust (especially during morning starts or sudden acceleration).
• Abnormally low engine oil level without any external leaks.
• Observation of greasy and black (carbon) deposits on the spark plug electrodes.
• Reduced engine power and increased misfires due to oil contamination of the spark plugs.
