EF7 crankshaft front seal, ROULANT brand, made in Taiwan

It is a key part in preventing engine oil leakage at the front of the crankshaft.
Due to the high temperature of the EF7 engine and the high speed of the crankshaft, this part is made of high-quality material with very high heat resistance so that it does not dry out and crack in the long term. The high dimensional accuracy of this product (in accordance with production line standards) ensures its precise installation and prevents oil from penetrating the front area of ​​the crankshaft and controls the engine oil pressure. Using this standard seal prevents the timing belt from getting greasy and serious damage caused by cutting or skipping the belt steps.

Technical note:
Before installation, be sure to check the pulley surface and the contact area of ​​the seal on the crankshaft; the presence of fine grooves caused by high operation will cause even a new seal to leak oil from the timing belt after a short period of time. Using an installation tool helps increase accuracy and ease of installation
