The EF7 oil suction pipe O-ring is a small but extremely vital part for maintaining pressure stability in the engine lubrication circuit. This O-ring is responsible for sealing the connection point of the suction pipe (oil nipple) to the oil pump.
Considering the sensitivity of the EF7 engine to oil pressure drops and high operating temperatures, Madsuran has produced this part from advanced materials that are resistant to hot oil corrosion to prevent air from entering the system and the phenomenon of “oil pump airing”. Using this standard quality O-ring ensures the proper functioning of the CVVT system and long bearing life.

Technical note:
Drying or deformation of this O-ring causes the oil pump to suck air instead of oil; if neglected, it will lead to engine bearing failure.

Drop or fluctuation in engine oil pressure and the oil light coming on
Delay in increasing oil pressure after starting, especially on cold starts
